IDV Bundles - Tropical Meteorology
 

The 2005 Atlantic Basin Tropical Cyclone season was unprecedented.  Among the highlights:

• This season had more named storms (30) than any other season
• Hurricane Katrina was the costliest hurricane in U.S. History

To better illustrate the processes at work during the 2005 season, a collection of Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) bundles have been constructed.  These bundles contain annotated data sets, each discussing some feature from the 2005 season.
